Case Study #1 Case Study #2 Case Study #3

The Problem:

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, required several hundred grams of a reactive intermediate. The route for making the compound involved practical difficulties for isolation and purification on the scale required, and preparing the amount needed would involve using multiple smaller-scale reactions.

The Solution:

AF ChemPharm took on the project, repeating the procedure on a small scale to confirm the issues and highlight any other potential problems for scale up. After identifying these, we developed a strategy which avoided most of these issues, and produced the material on the required scale without being forced to resort to multiple parallel reactions. Ultimately, we were able the target compound at a significantly higher purity than was requested, and we were also able to offer the improved route to our client.
